Magic Carpet came into our rescue program on December 15, 2018. Magic Carpet came into our rescue program as an Owner Surrender along with 5 other horses. Magic Carpet is a Beautiful, Chestnut, Thoroughbred, Colt. Magic Carpet is estimated to be 1 year old. Magic Carpet is a sweet boy and loves attention. Magic Carpet is quickly learning to be halter broke and broke to lead. He needs to put on a little bit of weight and get his feet trimmed. He will need work standing for the farrier and loading in the trailer. Once he has been gelded we will update with his adoption status. Update May 2019 Magic Carpet is now seeking his forever, loving home. Magic Carpet is going to be one big beautiful boy. He is super sweet and loves attention. This horse has a lot of potential to go any direction. He just needs a family that will start his training and that he can grow with. Magic Carpet is halter broke and broke to lead. He loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. Magic Carpet has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Magic Carpet was picked for our 9th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. He was chosen by Trainer Kari Nichols. Kari will be working with Magic Carpet for the next 130 days, turning Magic Carpet into a dependable riding companion. Kari will be going against 8 Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We have a total of 14 trainers competing. Competition is set for May 16, 2020 at Blaze's Tribute Equine Rescue's Facility at 21701 East Britton Road, Harrah, Oklahoma. Magic Carpet is a sweet boy and loves attention. Magic Carpet has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Magic Carpet has also been freeze branded for his protection. Quick Update from his Trainer, Kari Nichols Magic Carpet is unlike any other 3 year old I have ever met. He wants to be with you getting scratches and loved on but is no where near pushy or invasive about it. He's one of the smartest horses, he'll do something one time and will remember it no matter what. Magic Carpet has all of the heart and try in the world and will make anyone an amazing horse. He's one I would consider to be a kids horse further down the line. He's kind, goofy, and extremely friendly to everyone and everything. Zero spookiness, he really wants to learn and figure out everything he comes in contact with. KL Performance has enjoyed having him with us truly and he will be one that will be missed. Update December Magic Carpet is looking for his forever loving home to call his own. This handsome boy will make someone an excellent horse. We recommend an experienced rider that can continue to work with him and continue to grow and excel in any discipline. Magic Carpet has not been consistently worked with since he was trained last year. He just needs someone that is willing to continue working with him. Magic Carpet is extremely smart, super handsome and still growing. If you are looking for a great project horse that you can go any direction, this is your guy. Magic Carpet has been adopted to a wonderful family in Neosho, Missouri. Magic Carpet is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet boy found the forever, loving family he deserves where he will be showered with love and attention.

We are generally available BY APPOINTMENT Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and generally anytime Friday - Sunday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
